Summer

Last year I found a pool on craigslist for $50. It was a 3 ft deep by 10ft diameter. We bought that pool and it has been the greatest source of fun for our children. They LOVE it. They get in there and splash and laugh and play. I LOVE it.

We also got a camper that has just brought countless moments of joy. The kids actually said they prefer the camper to a condo at the beach. :) at the campgrounds they run, ride bikes, play ball, swim and just have a great time being with family and being kids.

If I can get you to do one thing this summer take some time, even if it is one night and just spend it enjoying time with your precious children. They are growing up right before our eyes. ENJOY it. :)

Been awhile

So many things have happened that I do not know where to begin. So I will just begin by saying, be grateful for the many blessings in your life because you never know when they might not be there anymore.

I am so grateful for my children and my husband. For the past 15 years my husband and I have been together. For the past 9 years I have been a mother. Are there hard times? Yes, of course. are there sad times? Definitely. But, overall the good so much out weighs the bad and I really believe you have to have some hard/bad times to be able to fully appreciate the good times.

I look at my children and I cannot believe that my dear daughter is already 8 years old, my son is 5 1/2 years old, and my youngest son just turned 2 years old. Time goes so fast. So as a mom, i think we should all just slow down a little and enjoy our children because the time passes so fast. So even if it has been a hard week , take a moment to remember how lucky we are to have the precious little children and what an honor its is to be their mom. :)
